Would you consider teaching in my home?

I believe a student needs to change location.  When a student goes to lessons, he or she is going to “work” and the “job” is to focus on instruction. There are many distractions in the home that take away from the educational process. Unless a student is in a well-structured learning environment—possibly a good home school situation—the student is better off in my studio which is totally directed towards drum education. Discuss your situation with me.

Are you a performer, or do you only teach?

I am both a performer and a teacher.  I play with a variety of groups in Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.  Check out my Performance Schedule page!

Is it possible for you to assemble a group to play an event or party?

Yes, I certainly can! I am in touch with a variety of working musicians.  I have worked with people from just about every style of music.  If you need music for an event, email Mike@MikeOttoDrums.com with "Event Music" in the subject.  I can give you an option!
